ABOUT MEREDITH
Meredith was born in Flower Mound, Texas and attended Flower Mound High School before enrolling at Northern Arizona University in 2018. She has always enjoyed science and discovery and chose the major in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biochemistry based on her interest in medicine and pharmacology. Meredith was accepted into the RISE program in June 2020 and has since performed research under her Primary Instructor Dr. Naomi Lee.


Outside of the lab, Meredith is a Flight Commander at NAU's Air Force ROTC Detachment. She will commission into the Air Force after graduation where she will pursue chemistry and public health. Meredith is also the Co-President of the NAU chapter of Out in STEM, a non-profit organization devoted to providing support and resources to LGBTQ+ students and allies in STEM fields.
