Meredith Dennis

Meredith is a senior undergraduate at NAU and is majoring in ACS certified Chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry. She is extremely grateful to be admitted to the RISE program which offers financial and academic assistance. Her research focuses on solid phase peptide synthesis as part of a larger project to conjugate virus-like particles and silver nanoparticles as a potential antibacterial platform. In addition to her research, Meredith has been a peer mentor for out-of-state students, is an active participant in Air Force ROTC, and is the Co-President of the NAU Chapter of Out in STEM. After her undergraduate degree, she plans to commission into the Air Force as a Second Lieutenant and pursue a Masters in Public Health.
